Questions we get a lot
Do I need a 3D file to order?
No. A reference photo, a rough description, or the broken part itself is enough to start. If a model has to be built from scratch, we’ll say so and quote the design work separately.
How much does a custom print cost?
It depends on size, material, print time, and how finished you want it — a raw print and the same model hand-painted are very different jobs. Send the details and you’ll get a real number, not a range.
How long will it take?
Every project is different, so we quote a timeline along with the price rather than promising a blanket turnaround. If you have a date you need it by, tell us up front and we’ll be straight about whether it’s doable.
Can you print a character or design from a game or film?
For personal use, usually yes, provided you have the right to the file you’re sending. We don’t reproduce licensed designs for resale. If you’re unsure where your request falls, ask and we’ll talk it through.
What’s the largest thing you can print?
Bigger than one print bed. Large pieces get split into sections, printed with alignment keys, and joined so the seams disappear under finishing. Full helmets and armor are built this way as standard.
Do you do local pickup?
Yes, within the Royse City area. Choose local pickup on the quote form and we’ll arrange a time.
Can you paint it for me?
Yes. Finishing runs from supports-off-and-cleaned, through sanded and primed, to fully hand-painted with shading, weathering, and a clear coat. Pick the level you want on the quote form, or ask for a recommendation.
